From Bob at Flat12 Bierwerks in Indianapolis:

Flat12 Bierwerks, a craft brewery that opened January 2, 2011, is celebrating its 1st Anniversary on Saturday, the 14th of January. The brewery will tap a special brew called “Winter Cycle”, a Double IPA that comes in at 9.2 ABV/107 IBU.

In addition to the tapping on Saturday, the brewery will hold a cookout, featuring local food, live music and special surprises throughout the day. In the run-up to the Saturday event, Head Brewer Rob Caputo and his staff plan to offer a variety of specialty and barrel-aged beers in the tasting room on Thursday and Friday.

We're having our Grand Opening Luau on January 21st. from 7pm to 10pm.
The time has finally come for our grand opening.  We've had a month or so to get our feet wet (sometimes literally) and have had some time to brew a few great seasonals in addition to our house lineup.  So now its time to celebrate and we would love to have our community of friends and those new to Fountain Square Brewery to join us for our Winter Luau.  Come dressed for the heat and maybe you'll win a marginally valuable prize!  Oh, and there will also be some great Island eats and music!

We are releasing an Oatmeal Stout on Thurs., Jan. 12.  Brief descriptionis below: 

Half Moon’s Oatmeal Stout is a full flavored and full bodied beer.It has a smooth, creamy, rich roasted malt character with notes of coffee,chocolate, and caramel.  A meal in a mug and this one is delicious!

O.G.=1.064  ABV=6.5%  IBU=27

Join us at Thr3e Wise Men on Tuesday January 17th for our first tapping party of the new year!! We will be tapping our Lombardi’s Super Baltic Porter! The tapping party starts at 6pm and Omar will be giving out some samples of this new beer. We will have $3.50 pints and $8 growler fills of this tasty beer that evening as well.
