  1. Dreadnaught vs. ANYTHING, Dreadnaught wins.

  2. Have you ever had Hoptimus? It's more than a worthy opponent of Dreadnaught. The two beers are definitely in the same class.

  3. not really, kim. i love hoptimus, and i love nabc, but dreadnaught is pretty much the best beer in the world

  4. I've blind judged Dreadnaught in competition twice, once in a 12 beer flight of IIPAs. It's in its own league. It just won another World Beer Cup medal on Saturday.

  5. I agree with Jim, Hoptimus holds its own against Dreadnaught. This might not stand when the final tally is done, but with 77 votes counted, Hoptimus is currently beating Dreadnaught 61%-39%.

Also, it should be noted that Behemoth just won a gold at the World Beer Cup (for Imperial Red Ale), not Dreadnaught.

  6. Wow, an interesting flip flop there at the end beer geeks. A 60 point swing in 51 minutes with 3 votes recorded seems a touch fishy. I'm not saying, I'm just saying.

  7. I agree with anon. ^ above. I watched this from the beginning and NABC's Hoptimus was always shown on the right hand block. Curious how Dreadnaught moved to the right and had a sixty point swing in less than an hour. Hmmmm...

  8. We've observed the same thing and can assure you that there is no foul play on our part. It's even more strange that there was such a wide swing at the end when Bracketeers is reporting just 3 votes today.

We'll see if we can figure what happened at the end of the polling.

I think what happened at the end of the polling was Hoptimus got polled.

  10. My theory is that they rigged the whole thing so 3F won so that they can get free Dark Lord! I see right through your scam!

  11. Aha, now that I see David's blogs I understand his deep interest.

I've contacted Bracketeers to see if they have any answers, we'll see what comes of that. Free services..

Since we've got double confirmation I'll agree that Hoptimus is the unofficial victor... more coming ASAP.

  12. It switched who I voted for. Something is screwy with this. I can post a screenshot. I most assuredly voted for Hoptimus and it says I voted for Dreadnaught.

  13. It did the same thing to my vote as well. I think the Bracketeers results page simply transposed the result.
